Playing Catch Up!! Round 3 (last one, I promise)

I love this house! It doesn't have everything I've ever dreamed of, but it's been a part of so many memories. We've put in a lot of sweat equity to make it what it is now and that makes it special.

I might be just a little please with my garden this year :) After reciving a "C+" from Mark on my pathetic garden last year, I think he was being generous too, I decided this year to try extra hard to make it productive. I've already had to start giving away veggies to friends and neighbors because we can't keep up.

The bunnies are enjoying taking turns in their play pen.

We have 6 ducks now too. They are so fun to watch waddle around the yard. They even wag their tails like little puppies! And this chocolate hen, Gretta has started nesting and will hopefully hatch some sweet babies in about a month.

Building forts in the backyard :)

I built this! Mostly. We bought it from a guy, but it was literally falling apart as we loaded it on the trailer. Mark didn't lift a single finger to this project after unloading the heap in the backyard. I'm pretty happy with how it came out. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't already thinking of ways to expand it, lol.

Happy FOURTH Birthday to this little girlie. She is as spunky as the day is long and we love her to bits.

These two grease monkeys got my engine pulled out and reinstalled. I'm so thankful for a husband, and relatives of course, who know how to get in there and fix things themselves. I know they saved us a couple thousand bucks! Thanks guys!

Playing Catch Up!! Round 2

We're getting closer people! Just scroll and enjoy :)

I love that Maysie has taken a great interest in writing lately. She used to abhor trying to write. This is an invitation to a girls night out, and for the record, it was "epic dude".

Sweet little angel. The puppy, Baby Scout has been tagging along for quite sometime now <3

St Patty's Day breakfast

Lilacs and apple blossoms in Grama Jukes' boot mug.

These two <3

Our house has really come a long way since we moved in. Only now you can tell from the outside too :)

My chicken hatched baby ducks!

Make ALL THE THINGS into Easter Bunnies :)

Someone already has her mouth stuffed full of candy, lol.

It's SO bright mom! Why do you torture us?!

This picture is perfect.

This little bean snuggled into our heart from the moment we saw her. Both of them <3

I made stuff with freezer paper stencils!

Sweet cousins...

...and Easter egg finding plumbers cracks. haha

Cute, tired kiddos

Doing math the fun way, with a horse and wagon to pull your equation :)

Hiking date! Forest Hill bridge.

Swimming lessons!

Hiking the tracks.

My lovely girls <3

She found caterpillars! She was so proud.

Dancing lessons with Daddy.

This poor little darlin' had to have 3 teeth surgically removed. She was so tough!

We got to be in a parade with Daddy!

Sweetcheeks here made me some frosting covered strawberries for Mother's Day <3 She even taste tested them to make sure they were good first.

Day trip to San Francisco to visit the Exploratorium. This trip did not start out as planned! The engine blew on my car and we had to limp it back home and take the truck instead. But it was a fun place and we had a great time.

Dressing up for her last ancient history dinner of the year.

I made pioneer outfits for the girls. Don't they look darling!

Brute, paying his respects to Scout. I still miss that boy so much.

And Willow, I'll bet she knew Scout for a minute in Heaven. Maybe that's what led us all the way to San Jose to find her <3

Making butter the old fashioned way! Boy does it taste better than the sticks. The girls even liked drinking the buttermilk :)
